In 2010 I travelled with my friend Keith to Sri Lanka to shoot a series of images. The whole trip went wrong, we got turned back at a military checkpoint in the middle of the night, and we never managed to get to the location to photograph the story we wanted . So we kinda left the country in a hurry.
Since we were on the road most of the time and only got to shoot random street scenes and the odd tourist attraction along the way, I never selected a story or even a series out of those images. So, 12 years later, I decided to give these images a chance to be seen and re-edited them.
It is not a coherent series or story. Just a random selection of impressions from a rather hectic 6 day trip around Sri Lanka...
